MICROBREWERY

Pug Ryan Brewing Tanks

Pug Ryan's Brewery was established in 1997. Our vision was to create a small craft brewery to compliment our steakhouse, and since its conception, the brewery has exceeded all our expectations. Dave Simmons, our head brewer, has focused on quality, brewing an assortment of beers to satisfy the most discriminating palate, including our wonderful Pallavicini pilsner to a creamy Scottish ale, (formerly known as Kiltlifter Scottish Ale) to a nice hoppy pale ale. Our beer is available to go in growlers, and the Pilsner and Morningwood Wheat are also sold in cans.  Also just released is the Oatmeal Vanilla Stout , made with a bit of Belgiam candy sugar and a tincture of honey, Jim Beam and hazelnut.

We pride ourselves on being one of the finest micro breweries in Colorado, and we look forward to continued growth.

Pugs brews can be found in lots of places, but they are best enjoyed at Pugs! Our microbrews can be found on tap at a number of local restaurants, at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Keystone Resort . Our cans are available in local Summit County liquor stores and select regional locations. As we look forward, we see a larger brewery with can distribution throughout Colorado. Join Pug's Posse to find out when our beer will be available in your home town.

WHY CANS?

Our brewery is expanding and canning our brews for distribution. We chose to can our beer instead of bottling our beer. Why, everyone always asks? Colorado is about enjoying the great outdoors! Therefore, we wanted a package that could accommodate all the backcountry enthusiasts, sailors, rafters, campers and hikers. Cans cannot break like glass, are easier to recycle, are lighter, crushable and are allowed almost everywhere. Cans do not let in light that spoils beer, and so our beer stays fresher longer. Our decision to can was easy cans go everywhere.

Pug's beers have won awards all over the United States.
