New Renovations at Pugs!

Nov 29, 2016 -- Posted by : Annie

With the help of Jack Norton and his crew from Crosscut Reclaimed, we have made some exciting updates to our bar! After 40 years our bar top finally got the makeover it needed. It all started with a tree local loggers brought down on Ute Pass just outside of Silverthorne, CO. We feel good about bringing down a tree that was affected by the beetle kill and that's locally sourced. Jack then took the tree and spliced it so the bar top is one whole piece of wood. A bullet was actually discovered in the middle of the core which could be dated back 80-100 years. On installation day Jack had to create a custom cart to move the bar top into position which he credits was the most vital part of the build. 7 men were needed to move the bar top into the brewery and slide it into place. We are very excited to bring these updates and renovations to Pug Ryan's and we hope this bar top treats us just as well as the old one. Come on in and grab a bite or a pint and help us break it in!
